Critically-acclaimed band, Haerts, announces the forthcoming release of their new album, Dream Nation, scheduled for release on March 12, 2021. They also are proud to unveil their new single, “It’s Too Late,” out now via Rix Records / The Orchard & Humming Records.
The duo’s upcoming album has a sense of urgent intensity. The duo, Nini Fabi and Benny Gebert, wrote the album over a course of a month, then recorded the album with their touring band over a week-long recording session in New Orleans.
The band’s first single from the album, “For The Sky,” is out now.
The music video for “It’s Too Late” will have a music video forthcoming.
“We went into the studio without setting limits or parameters other than that we wanted to make a record that moves you emotionally and physically. We wanted it to feel like an invitation into the strange and fantastical nighttime world, like the songs they play just before the lights come on when the party is almost over, and the polish is gone,” Haerts explained.
Formed through the fire of high school romance, the duo formed in Munich, Germany, and the band has evolved as the duo has evolved. They first were students at Berklee School of Music in Boston, then throughout the creative scene in Brooklyn, NY. The duo’s major-label, self-titled debut album was released in 2014. Their second full-length album, New Compassion, in 2018.
Now, they split their time between Berlin and New York. Take a look at the video for “For The Sky” featuring Ed Droste.
