If you’re looking for new music, you’ve got to check out ChiTown’s post-punk / no-wave band, Ganser. The music video for the band’s third single, “Satsuma,” was filmed by renowned photographer, Kirsten Miccoli in post-blizzard Chicago.
The video follows a woman (Katie Ziebart) wandering through the city and dancing passionately and eventually encountering each band member throughout her travels.
From the band:
“The backdrop of Chicago winter serves as a playground for pushing against winter malaise, cabin fever, and seasonal depression (we should all really take more vitamin D). Unaware of the effect on her surroundings, she soldiers on, eventually disappearing into the landscape towards the unknown.”
