The San Diego, CA-based trio, Thee Sacred Souls, shares a new playlist just in time for Valentine’s Day. Their new playlist titled the “Love Struck” Playlist is filled with songs about love, opening with the trio’s latest single, “It’s Our Love.”
“These selections focus on romantic love so grab your baby and get to feelin’,” note the band. “Love is what drives us to do good and be good to those around us. The lack of it leads to greed, hate, and corruption. Let’s love y’all.”
The trio enters the new year with the release of their track, “It’s Our Love,” via Penrose Records, the imprint from the iconic House of Soul, Daptone Records.
The trio had a quick rise and quickly became a must-hear group after the release of “Can I Call You Rose?” between “Weak For Your Love.”
They later released “Give Me Justice,” written in response to the murder of George Floyd. The proceeds from the song were donated to organizations “freedoms, rights and wellbeing of black people beginning with the Movement for Black Lives.”
