Today Fleet Foxes announce their first official live stream event since the release of their fourth full-length release, Shore. The live stream, A Very Lonely Solstice, will take place on the Winter Solstice, as a bookend to Shore. That album had been surprise-released digitally on September 22 at 6:31 am PT/9:31 am ET, the Autumnal Equinox.
The show will feature a solo acoustic performance by Fleet Foxes frontman and songwriter, Robin Pecknold, with a one-song guest appearance from the immensely-talented Resistance Revival Chorus (RRC).
Tickets for the live stream are available here. Additionally, the band will make the stems available for Shore this Friday, December 4, via Bandcamp.
Shore will be released on all physical formats (vinyl, CD and cassette) on February 5, 2021, and is available for preorder here.
