This party is for adults only! That’s right, Saturday, July 20th, 2013 come out to the Philadelphia Zoo to celebrate the 5th Annual Summer Ale Festival from 6-10pm. This is a rain or shine event! Sample food, craft beers, and of course the main reason to be at a zoo… all of the animals!
Local and national brewing companies will be serving their collection of brews at the festival including Triumph Brewing Company, Boxcar Brewing Company, Twin Lakes Brewing Company, Victory Brewing Company, Sly Fox Brewing Company, and Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company. Let’s not forget about the great eating to go along with these beers! Mad Mex, Beer Cakes Philly, The Pop Shop, Hard Rock Café, California Pizza Kitchen, Qdoba Mexican Grill and more are going to be at the festival serving delicious food for everyone.
“We are thrilled to host Summer Ale Festival for a fifth year. There is something at the zoo for guests of all ages, and this is our way of offering adults an exclusive experience and opportunity to get up close and personal with our animal collection, taste incredible food and ale, listen to music and have a great time among friends,” says Amy Shearer, Philadelphia Zoo’s Chief Marketing Officer. “This event has become something to look forward to each summer.”
Tickets are available online for $65. Again, this is an adult only event and you must be 21 years of age to enter with proper identification. Though, you don’t need to drink if you don’t want to. A designated driver ticket is available for only $35- enjoy the food and everything the zoo has to offer! To learn about ticket packages and pricing visit PhiladelphiaZoo.org. Hope to see you at the zoo!
