The Battle of the Burger is back for the 2nd year in a row! Hosted by Philadelphia Magazine and presented by Amstel Light the final round is taking place next Wednesday night at The Piazza At Schmidts. It’s up to you, the public, to decide the winner.
Over 50 restaurants were narrowed down to 20 competitors. From Hard Rock Café to the Taproom, restaurants will present their best and you can check out a complete list of the participants along with the specialty burger they will be presenting at Philadelphia Magazine‘s site. With names like the Ultimate Memphis Mauler, from Fat Jack’s BBQ, and the Breaking Bad Burger, from Keg and Kitchen, you are going to want to bring your appetite to try as many as possible. Burgers can range from beef, turkey, chicken, fish, veggie, or a combination of them all so there is something for everyone including vegetarians.
Additional restaurants will also be providing an array of side dishes and desserts. So you might want to try fasting for the week ahead to prepare because your ticket includes unlimited food and Amstel Light!
Tickets are $50 and $60 at the door. The festivities also include music, games, activities and more starting at 6pm. Everyone will be able to cast a vote for their favorite burger and the winner and runner up will be announced on stage at the end of the night. So bring your appetite all you burger lovers to The Piazza at Schmidts next Wednesday 9/10 for all you can eat and vote for your favorite burger!
