Indie-folk trio, Bright Eyes, share a new track, “Miracle of Life,” to benefit Planned Parenthood. The trio was recently added to the bill for Planned Parenthood‘s upcoming “Village of Love” Virtual Fundraising Festival, tomorrow, October 25.
The song is released in partnership with organization’s 7-inches for Planned Parenthood Collective with all of the proceeds from the sales, streaming, and syncs going to Planned Parenthood. The track is available today exclusively on Bandcamp for a $1.00 download. It will be available on all streaming platforms on Wednesday, October 28.
“This song should not exist in 2020 America. It is a protest song, I guess. Or maybe just a little story about what was, what still is in many parts of the world and what could be again here in this country if the GOP is successful in reshaping the Supreme Court and rolling back all of the hard fought progress made for reproductive rights in the last fifty years. Hopefully, if we all work together and vote, it will make this song sound as irrelevant and outdated as it should,” says Bright Eyes‘ Conor Oberst about the track.
Bright Eyes is Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis, and Nathaniel Wolcott, as well as Phoebe Bridgers, Jon Theodore, and Flea. The trio recently released their latest record, Down In The Weeds, Where The World Once Was via Dead Oceans in August.
