Anger bursts out of Doylestown, Pennsylvania from the rock band Balance and Composure. The band’s latest album The Things We Think We’re Missing features thirteen ear-piercing tracks that are extremely hard to comprehend. For example, the first track “Parachutes” features screaming vocals that sound like a person writhing in pain and eerie rock melodies that will definitely make one squirm with discomfort.
The track “Parachutes” is a depressing tale about a troubled individual who always seems to end up in self-inflicted disasters. The troubled individual cannot seem to find a positive outlet to help get rid of the anger that is bottled up within themselves. This angry rant sets the overall tone of the album which is full of a lot of screaming and very depressing lyrics.
