The Sydney, Australia-based indie electronic pop innovators, D.E.L, return to showcase a beautiful and powerful new single titled “Bloom.” This track continues the trio’s ambient and soothing musical direction.
Originally created by multimedia artist, music writer, producer, and brother Timm De La Hoyde, the trio has combined forces to bring together their creative energy. D.E.L‘s music is a kaleidoscope of different influences; perhaps, “a mirror for post-millennial angst.” From just hearing the track, “Bloom,” you can hear the flecks of various different influences celebrated in this track.
Initially, it was inspired by Japanese anime and the juxtaposition of cultural ideas, art, and music, and D.E.L‘s music is a free and formless way of artistic expression, which is focused on provoking listeners to consider their emotional states. The band also draws influence from sub-culture music and art as a whole, with the band’s future beats and heartfelt vocals, they’ve only, in a short period of time, crafted a project that bends genres, and is the perfect testament to how millennials feel everything and fear nothing.
Aside from writing and releasing their own music, the trio also working on continuing writing producing for other projects. They’ve been able to work with artists from Sony Music, ATV, Universal Music, Warner Music, and City Pop.
