For all his life, frontman Eric Kane, of the alt-rock band, Kane Incognito, looked up to his older brother. They were close; always telling each other things they accomplished. His brother would either congratulate him or tell him to work hard and do better.
On the first birthday, after his brother passed away, Kane wrote him a letter of all the things he’s done and went through since he passed away.
This is how the song “Sing It Out Loud” was born.
“Recording “Sing It Out Loud” was quite the experience. Emotions were running high, and we were determined to capture the right mood,” Kane says. It’s definitely been an emotional rollercoaster, but despite the highs and lows of the situation, he’ll keep singing for his brother no matter what.
