The London-based alt-pop rapper, Ashnikko, shares her brand new single and outrageously crazy music video for the track, “Daisy.” The video was shot in collaboration with Beats by Dr. Dre. To create the music video, Ashnikko called upon her called upon TikTok users to join in the #BEATSDAISYCHALLENGE, which has amassed more than 7.7 billion views and 2.4 million submissions.
The most creative entries were selected to be featured in the final video directed by Charlotte Rutherford. Prior to the release of “Daisy,” Ashnikko released the song “Cry” featuring Grimes.
Born and raised in suburban Greensboro, North Carolina, Ashnikko grew up listening to a musical diet of country music and Slipknot. After spending most of her teenage years in Eastern Europe, she listened to exclusively female artists until she was age 17, which shaped her early sound.
At 18, she moved to London, and spent most of her time wandering nightclubs and open mics to perform.
