Country Agenda

Alex Bleeker and the Freaks had released their debut album in 2009. Now, six years later, they are releasing their third LP, Country Agenda. The Freaks’ band members have changed throughout the years, however, their concept remains consistent.
On the opening track, “Little Dream I Had,” there is a particularly relaxing vibe and consistent interplay between the band members. The lyrics allow you to digress in your own thoughts and still immerge in the song. Interesting opening track with medium/slow tempo with an “end of the party” vibe.
“Sealong Hair,” the seventh track, has an interesting title with spaced out melodies, chordal playing, riffs, and a contemplative quality. In general, the entire album is consistent in instrumentation, arrangements, and vibes.
Despite not having a particular overall arch of emotions, tempos, arrangements, etc. Alex Bleeker and the Freaks openly invite the listener for a moment of insight on Country Agenda.
