The second annual Old City Seaport Festival hosted by the Independence Seaport Museum will be sailing into town October 11-13 along the Delaware River water front with a weekend full of activities from a parade of boats, live music, and food trucks to a beer garden with lots of selections to choose from.
The festival kicks off with a boat parade Friday night from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and the festival picks up again Saturday at 10 a.m. with deck tours of tall ships, music, food, vendors and crafts. The beer garden will also open Saturday followed by a unbelievable pirate battle on the Delaware later in the night. Sunday will be jammed packed with activities for all members of the family until 6: 30 p.m.
If you’re not able to make it Saturday, come Sunday at the same opening time. Don’t miss one bit of the festival because there is something for everybody at the Old City Seaport Festival.
