The up-and-coming vocalist, Olivia Rox, shares her 4th single, “Princess,” off her debut LP, PopRox, via Songbird Records. The track has been described as “the perfect love anthem for the perfect fairytale love story.” Think Taylor Swift‘s “Love Story” days.
Based in Los Angeles, Rox is a multi-instrumentalist who has been performing all her life with a 4+ octave range. The entire LP is 100% written by Rox. Previously, she was featured on American Idol in the Top 6 females. Her songs have charted on Billboard, been featured on SiriusXM, and Mediabase.
The track, “Princess,” features Curt Bisquera (drums), Rox (piano), Steve Ferlazzo (keys), Jay Gore (guitars), and the track was mixed by the multi-platinum, 16-time Grammy winner with 27-#1 singles, Mick Guzauski (Mariah Carey, Pharrell Williams, Daft Punk, Janelle Monae).
The music video features Olivia as a stable girl who falls in love with a prince (played by the Italian actor, Federico Pedroni). The video was filmed at Paramount Ranch and really creates a special, magical story that unfolds, as it’s revealed the prince is engaged to marry someone else – a cruel princess from a faraway kingdom. The prince finds himself forced to choose between the orders of the king and his one true love.
