David Guetta is no stranger to releasing music that’s magic out into the ether. His latest collaboration is with Sia on their chart-topping new single, “Let’s Love” via Warner Records.
“During this time of isolation, I’ve been incredibly inspired to release music that has uplifting energy,” said David Guetta. “I love producing club tracks, but at the same time, especially now, I feel like creating ‘feel-good’ music. ‘Let’s Love’ is a message of love, hope, and bringing people together and once again, Sia has outdone herself on the vocals.”
Guetta’s also no stranger to bringing together people of other cultures all around the world too. The power he possesses overcomes obstacles of many leaps and bounds. His stance within the music industry is deeply rooted with imprints of his work that is to be admired and re-played for many generations to come. Only an artist with his stature, talent, and perseverance can attach himself to an opener in an article like this because of the magic he’s produced and the collaborations he’s connected with. He’s worked with artists like Chris Brown, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Usher, Kid Cudi, and now again with the ever so talented, Sia.
Guetta and Sia are back with yet another top-charting single to set the world on fire. Guetta delivers his powerful groove signature as the single takes us back to that ‘80s time capsule with a familiar sample of Pat Benatar’s “Love Is A Battlefield.” It’s catchy, danceable, uplifting, filled with loads of optimism and hope. Guetta’s reasoning for creating such a song of faith and endurance was inspired by the pandemic and police brutality. Guetta decided to contribute in the best way he knew how to through music.
Though the two have broken the industry in half with their topping hit singles like “Titanium,” which has been streamed over 1 billion times, and “Flames,” which is the most played song on the airwaves of every radio station across Europe, as well as “She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)” which has 500 million views on YouTube. They’re still not quite finished with their timeless enchantments of creating global relations through music which connects humans in the most invigorating way possible.
Earlier this year, Guetta raised over 1.5 million dollars for the COVID-19 Relief Fund with a live stream that he calls the United at Home Charity. He held two events, one in Miami in April, and the other in NYC in May, which pulled in over 50 million viewers collectively. The stream that was done in Miami earned Guetta a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for most viewers of a DJ set taken place via live stream on Facebook and has earned himself a place in Guinness again, this time for most liked DJ on Facebook.
Any and all things are possible when your heart is in it. When that is proposed genuinely, so many things come together in the most beautiful, overwhelming ways imaginable. For Guetta, that is exactly what happened and I’m almost certain that this new single will be successful.
