Founder and current drummer, Bryan Devendorf (of The National), shares a new solo project, Royal Green, and announced his debut self-titled album is out now. Royal Green was co-produced with Nate Martinez in Brooklyn, NY. The 8-track set features originals, as well as covers.
The music video for his first single, “Breaking The River,” is a breezy, fun jam that features additional guitar from The National’s Aaron Dessner, and some terrific bass playing from his Bob Weir Campfire Band bandmate, Josh Kaufman. Devendorf’s Royal Green approach was a “many-channels-open” style of creation.
Royal Green tracklisting:

- If Not For You
