The Canadian-based rock quintet, Rarity, drops their new single and music video for their song, “Leave It Alone.” This is the band’s first release since their 2019 LP, The Longest Lonesome (New Damage Records). Exclusive “Leave It Alone” merch is available at the New Damage store here.
The song, “Leave It Alone,” is proof of longtime friends coming together to write one of the band’s most exciting tracks. The lyrics of the song came together in one night, with much of the content from jotted down in the Notes app.
In 2014, the band made their debut with their Alive In Your Eyes EP (Rise Records) and started off on the road. Following that, the quintet entered the studio with Derek Henderson (Knuckle Puck, Real Friends) and Derek Discanio (State Champs) to deliver their first LP, I Couldn’t Be Weaker.
After some tough years, with lessons learned, and a newly-cemented lineup, the band is ready to hit the road with their highly-anticipated sophomore LP, The Longest Lonesome, in hand, and ready to rock.
