Today marks the return of a new era for British pop star, Foxes, after a lengthy three-year hiatus. She returns with her blazing, electronic-pop single, “Love Not Loving You.” The song is available everywhere via [PIAS] Recordings.
“This song is about finally falling in love with myself, about not depending on anyone else for my own happiness, And being able to stand on my own two feet. I hope the message in this song can inspire others to do the same.” Foxes reveals.
Alongside the release of the new single is the release of the accompanying and addictive music video. Her creativity and artistry are shown in the music video. The video was inspired by her recent hiatus and her journey of self-discovery, as well as a need to celebrate the women that came before her. The music video was directed by The Mill‘s Rauri Cantelo; however, with the current pandemic and lockdown, she was forced to shoot the video at home on her phone, with the help of her mother, her dog, and her team on hold via video conferencing.
