Shoegaze/dream pop artist, That Gum U Like, shares a brand new song titled “Ballad of a Boy.”
The song opens with a beautiful electronic intro, and then she breaks into the beginning of the song. The track is a downtempo, electronic masterpiece with elements of shoegaze and dream pop blended within the song. The vocals are wispy, gentle, and dream-like. Her voice compliments the music well, but the only thing that was difficult for me was to understand the lyrics that accompanied the music.
