The electronic duo, O Future (previously OOFJ), is thrilled to share the release of their brand new single, “Spy.” The duo, comprised of Katherine Mills Rymer and Jens Bjornkjaer, also announces the release of new album, Voyeur, out November 14.
“Spy,” Rhymer explains, “is a track about avoiding true intimacy in a relationship as you act as the spy in your own life, looking from the outside and not feeling but “kissing with your eyes open.”
Voyeur is an album that blends the duo’s signature sounds of their stellar indie-electronic riffs paired with their orchestral arrangements. The album features guest appearances from Sune Rose Wagner of The Raveonettes, Matt Popieluch of Big Search and percussion work by Trentemollers drummer Jakob Hoyer.
The album also features the duo’s previously released singles “Smell You” and “Telephone.”
When the pair met in New York, they were both pursuing different careers, but somehow came together to start creating music. They released their first two albums under the name OOFJ and have the titles of producer, director, and actor/actress in their own music videos.
