Up and coming indie/electronic pop artist, Dirty Chime, shares their brand new music video for the single, “Fifty-One Fifty.”
Thomas Clayton is the brains behind Dirty Chime. Often touching upon sensitive subjects like mental health, medicating/over-medicating, and escapism, Clayton’s new single, “Fifty-One Fifty,” refers to the California law enforcement code, ‘5150’, for the “temporary, involuntary psychiatric commitment of individuals who present a danger to themselves or others due to signs of mental illness.”
Clayton is also the founder of the electronic music streetwear brand, SVCRED. Other music releases include the Afro-influenced dark pop track titled “Halo,” a duet with Skela called “Fragile Beings,” and a Miami beats-track titled “Sleepover” with producer N2N.
The soulful, electronic tune “Fifty-One Fifty” barriers on the edge of R&B/hip-hop layered over vocal melodies, a foundation of keyboards, and bass grooves. Check the music video for “Fifty-One Fifty” below!
