Every year, the Camden Waterfront Freedom Festival is one of the most exciting Independence Day events, and this one is no different. This four day festival, running from July 3rd through July 6th, will feature everything from rock bands, to food and beer, kids events, and, of course, fireworks. Come out each day to have tons of patriotic fun and celebrate our country in style.
Each day through the 5th will include a beer garden, jugglers, an apple pie eating contest, live music, aquarium visits and more. On July 3rd it will all culminate in the Let Freedom Rock Fest at the Susquehanna Bank Center. This music festival, sponsored by 102.9 MGK, will be headlined by legendary 80s classic rock bands Styx and Foreigner, along with Don Felder of the Eagles. July 4th is Family Freedom Day, with live music all afternoon and evening, featuring bands playing country, old school R&B, and even zydeco, along with a grand Naturalization Ceremony for new citizens of our nation. July 5th is the big one, with a Freedom Concert featuring many great bands, including legendary Beatles tribute act The Beat-Tells, and a fireworks celebration and BBQ to cap off the night. Finally, July 6th will be Military Appreciation day, with huge discounts for active and former military members for Battleship New Jersey tours and entry to the Adventure Aquarium, along with $3 admission for all to the Camden Children’s Garden, including fun Independence Day activities for kids.
The Camden Waterfront Freedom Festival, located along the Delaware River, will begin on July 3rd and July 4th at 11 AM, and the festivities will commence on July 5th and July 6th at noon. The event is free to enter, although many of the activities will cost money. In particular, you should buy tickets in advance for the Let Freedom Rock Fest, which can be purchased here.
