Night Cycles

Let’s be upfront. This is not pop music. It is not easily digestible music for the masses. Surely, some listeners will claim that they “don’t get it”. That is unfortunate. An open mind could get lost forever in Jon Coyle’s Night Cycles – an industrial modernization of 20th century minimalism. It sounds like Radiohead, John Cage, and Morton Feldman are riding a spaceship headed to the Twilight Zone and everyone on board has insomnia. Despite the weirdness, it is very musical journey worth taking if you are feeling adventurous.
