This is the Funky Part

Bring the Noise, bring the Funk!
The Royal Noise is forging their way into unknown territory, bringing funk into the electronic age with dubstep-esque beats and classic saxophone licks melding together into an amalgam of funk. What really stands out on This is the Funky Part is the complete lack of quality difference between their live and produced tracks. This band is air tight and they don’t care who knows it.
The eighth track on the album is an almost twelve minute live track titled “Jumbling Towers/Back at the Bakery” and it will blow your mind. The instrumentation alone will be enough to intrigue you, but the pure energy emanating from this band will leave you worn out by the end of the song! Rhythmic complexity, quality saxophone and guitar riffs and solid drumming will leave you in awe of what The Royal Noise can do live.
The Royal Noise is definitely some worth listening to. Intricate enough for the seasoned jazz/funk aficionado and joyfully energetic enough for the listener who knows nothing about the genre, it’s good to see funk is in such good hands!
