It’s that time of year again. Chocolate, stuffed animals and glittery cards are filling the aisle ways in stores. Chick flicks are on the TV and engagement ring photos are popping up on Facebook. Love is in the air, but you’re sick of it aren’t you? Burned by an ex or maybe you just don’t like all the romantic sap? Come celebrate Singles Awareness Day at Howl at the Moon with their 9th annual Love Sux party.
Howl at The Moon, the dueling piano bar, celebrates the love-struck holiday in a way singles can really enjoy, by making light of it and celebrating everything the singles feel during that day. This party is not only in Philly, but locations across the country can share in the anti Valentine’s Day festivities Friday afternoon long into the night.
Anti love jams will fill the air from the dueling pianists and there will be plenty of games and prizes to keep everyone entertained, including a $500 dollar prize. Starting at 4pm everyone wishing to forget the sappy holiday can stop on by the Philly location and begin. Even better- everyone has a photo of an ex they’d love to draw a mustache on or stick a pin through, right? Well, bring those photos in before 10pm and your admission is free!
Themed drinks like F bombs and Ex Boyfriends are on the menu, too. So grab those singles blues, a photo of an ex and head out the Love Sux party on the 14th!
