Wild Pack
Reviewed By: Lexi Bissonnette
Indie rock band Quiet Life released their second LP, Wild Pack, infusing indie rock and folk rock. This 11-track LP shifts back and forth between slow, moody pieces and upbeat classic indie rock sounds.
“Record Time” and “Low Blues” are tracks that focus heavily on the sounds of classic indie rock. Both pieces are laid back with crooning vocals. “San Luis Obispo” is a harmonica driven track that has a heavy folk rock feel. “New London”, placed near the end of the album, is the longest track with the most folk feel. “Devil’s Kin” is an interesting mix of the two musical styles and more upbeat than the majority of the album.
Quite Life will also be on tour this fall with The Head and the Heart.
