Bloktoberfest is back! For those unfamiliar with Bloktoberfest, the annual block party/Oktoberfest concoction is a free-to-attend celebration of all things awesome with loads of beer, food, music, and even some activities for kids to enjoy. This is all taking place on an exclusive “Blok” on 17th and South, this Saturday Oct. 19, from noon until 8 p.m., spanning over four blocks from South and Broad to South and 18th streets.
Thanks to a partnership with South Street West Business Association and Bella Vista Beer Distributors, Bloktoberfest will be packed with beer from all over the country, food from neighborhood vendors, food trucks of course, and multiple stages of live music.
Weary about navigating the fest and how to get your hands on the beer? There is a beer bracelet on sale NOW with different prices to choose from. Buying the bracelet online is cheaper and gives you faster check-in on the day of the festival. Plus, the good folks behind Bloktoberfest care so much about the event’s participants that there is even a discounted service available through Uber, a professional driving service here is Philadelphia, so that everyone is free to drink and be merry with a safe ride home.
This is such a special event that for the first time this year, Bloktoberfest even has its own beer! Bloksteady Ale is making its first public appearance on Saturday, after months of meticulous planning and the right amount of love, Round Guys Brewery is bringing a refreshing and hair-raising ale to taste buds near you.

Early bird limited quantity premium beers marked with *E* will be served exactly at 12 p.m. on a first come first served bases. Check out the full list of beers available at the fest HERE.
There will also be too many food options available to mention, so go to the event’s food page to see for yourself. There will be two stages for musical guest, Jerk Hut stage and 16th Street stage.
